A baseline raptor survey of Craters of the Moon National Monument with map and review of literature on raptors of the area This is actually 3 documents (a report, letter and map) detailing the Baseline Resource Inventory (BRI) for raptors on Craters of the Moon National Monument. This includes the report (with review of literature on raptors of the area), a letter from the US Fish and Wildlife Service to CRMO Superintendent Robert Hentges regarding the BRI program and survey planning and a map with locations of raptor sightings and/or nest locations. (Map undated but presumed May of 1985 as per letter and report). Results of survey and literature review indicate sixteen species of raptors have been observed in the monument (1935-1985) with 6 confirmed to nest there (11 confirmed to nest in the Great Rift Area).
