Quitobaquito Springs has had heavy human use for hundreds of years, and the more recent grazing of cattle had considerable effect on the vegetation. After cessation of grazing in 1979, the plant life at that larger spring, along with several nearby ones, had opportunity to recover to some extent, and study plots were set up to allow resampling and rephotography for documentation of changes. Conditions at the individual springs are outlined, and photo pairs show vegetation changes. Brief bibliography, 2 tables, 13 photo pairs with captions.
