Three different volcanic eruptions are the focus of this abstract: Chaos Crags, Cinder Cone, and Lassen Peak. Chaos Crags was shown as an example of silicic volcanism, Cinder Cone was given as an example of mafic volcanism, and Lassen Peak was given as an illustration of the amount of destruction a snow-covered volcano can cause when it erupts. The hazards associated with each type of volcano was discussed.
