This is an account of recolonization following removal of iguanid lizards. Experimental manipulation of the populations can help determine recovery rates after any reduction of numbers. The plot from which females had been removed the season before had remained vacant, probably until spring, and was found to have recovered completely by the next mating season. The male-removal site recovered as well. Brief bibliography, 2 tables.
