This is an Arc/Info point coverage that shows the location of milemarkers along the main paved road at Arches National Park. At points where signs were located, the position was recorded using a GPS unit and the corresponding odometer reading was noted. At whole mile intervals that were not marked by a sign, a GPS reading was also taken; the absence of a sign was noted in the comments field. The locations were recorded on December 15, 1999, using a Trimble ProXR GPS unit; differential corrections were applied in the GIS lab.
