These data are an ArcView point shapefile of sites in and around Carlsbad Caverns National Park where researchers captured and radio-tagged foraging Mexican free-tailed bats to determine if they were residents of the colony in Bat Cave in Carlsbad Cavern. Sites yielded positive returns (bats were later found to be roosting in Bat Cave), negative returns, or were no capture sites.
