These data are derived from an SQL Connect query to an Access database maintained at the park. The Historical Fire Events Database (HFED) was originally developed for Saguaro National Park and has been populated with fire records from the Carlsbad Caverns National Park Fire Management Office. The HFED uses the DI-1202 fire report as its information base. These data contain information on the size, location and date of fire events, and may be searched, sorted, compiled, and mapped to suit analytical ends.
