These data are an ArcView line shapefile of a 76 km transect along which multiple sign for mountain lions (i.e., tracks, kills, scrapes, and scats) were recorded in Carlsbad Caverns National Park. The transect line was digitized from Smith et al. (1988). The dataset is 1:24,000-scale. The monitoring program for which data were collected along this transect was conducted during October 1987 to May 2001.
