This paper attempts to construct a late-Holocene climatic history of the Jemez Mountains, NM, from fossil pollens collected from Castor Pond, a peat bog. Climatic indices were based upon amount and taxa of pollen present at different time intervals. Includes a checklist of plants currently occuring at Castor Pond and graphs of pollen amounts over time.
