This is a vector point file showing the location of invasive plant control study plots at Fossil Butte National Monument. Each plot is 3X3 area within larger weed pollution. Some type of weed control has been done for the whole area but only the plants in the control study plots are counted and than monitored. The invasive plant or weed inventory was conducted for the most part with the procedures, classifications and data dictionary outlined by the Inventory and Monitoring Program Northern Colorado Plateau Network. The coordinates for this dataset were collected using a Trimble ProXR or a GeoExplorer III.
