This is an ArcView shapefile (point) depicting the corner locations of the study plots for the Saguaro Cactus (Carnegiea gigantea) that are tagged for long-term study in the Rincon and Tucson Mountain Districts, Saguaro National Park, Arizona. A field study was initiated in 1989-1990 to examine the population structure and health of saguaro cactus in the park. Thirty saguaros were permanently marked with rebar and numbered tags on the 4-hectare study plots.
