This report studied the mortality and recovery of ponderosa pines following the La Mesa Fire at Bandelier National Monument, NM. Trees of varying sizes and foliar damage were surveyed for survivorship and foliar regrowth for two growing seasons after the fire. Includes information on shrub resprouting and the establishment of aerially reseeded grasses.
