Vegetation was reclassified based on research into historic fire regimes. The fire return intervals were obtained from either the literature or actual fire-history data for sites within or near the park. This coverage uses the maximum range for the vegetation type. Confidence levels for each vegetation type varies depending on the quality of fire-history data and the applicability of sources from outside the park.
