This coverage originated at Teale GIS Data Center as CALWATER version 1.0. CALWATER is digital and exists as a 1:24000-scale, ARC/INFO GIS coverage (Brandow, 1995). Originally developed by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CDF). CALWATER has since udergone several updates and currently exists as version 2.2 at the Teale Data Center. This dataset was modified by Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks to outline the major watersheds in the park. The original CALWATER attributes are not part of this dataset.
