National Capital Parks USGS DLG Hydrography

Stidham TM and Stidham T. National Capital Parks USGS DLG Hydrography. National Park Service

This hydrography coverage for National Capital Parks Central, National Capital Parks East and Rock Creek Park was created by merging the following USGS 7.5' boundary DLG files: Alexandria, Anacostia, Beltsville, Brandywine, Kensington, Lanham, Laurel, Mount Vernon, Odenton, Piscataway, Relay, Savage, Upper Marlboro, Washington East and Washington West. Digital line graph (DLG) data are digital representations of cartographic information. All DLG data distributed by the USGS are DLG - Level 3 (DLG-3), which means the data contain a full range of attribute codes, have full topological structuring, and have passed certain quality-control checks. This data set was created from data transferred in the Spatial Data Transfer Standard (SDTS) format, except for the Alexandria, Anacostia, Washington East and Washington West data. These Quads were obtained in the optional DLG-3 (cdo) format.
