deerpelsites

Gareau A and Gareau AL. 2002. deerpelsites. Cuyahoga Valley National Park

These data represent the approximate spatial locations of white-tailed deer fecal pellet monitoring sites. Actual survey sites are 3m x 50m transects. Fecal pellet groups are counted using a standard protocol on these transects each winter just after the last snow melt (around March/April). The number of pellet groups is recorded in a corresponding data field.
