Cultural areas in the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area. The source of these data is the Minnesota State Historic Preservation Office. This office plotted cultural areas they believed to be pertinent to the Mississippi National River and Recreation planning project on 1:24000 scale quadrangle maps. These areas were then traced onto mylar overlays and digistized in GRASS. Contacts for this maplayer are Mike Stuebe and John Paite, NPS-Denver Service Center - TCE.
