Elevations in and around Mississippi National River and Recreation Area. The categories indicate elevation in meters above sea level. The data were created for this project by SPOT Image, Inc. For the 24 MNRRA quads, the scale of the source data was 1;24000. For the remaining quads the data source was much coarser: 1:250,000 scale. Therefore, any analyses using these elevation data (e.g., viewshed or watershed generation) the non-MNRRA (coarse scale) quads should be masked out. There is an arficial boundary (data seam) between the Diamond Bluff West quad and the rest of the data because this quad was purchased later and patched into the data for the rest of the area.
