Mississippi NRRA Utility lines (missutll)
Budde P. 1996. Mississippi NRRA Utility lines (missutll). NPS Midwest Field Area
Utility lines in the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area. Selected utilities within the NRRA boundary were plotted on paper 7.5 minute USGS maps by Metropolitan Council staff in late 1991. Only the utilities in the immediate vicinity of the MNRRA corridor are shown. The lines and points on the paper quads were drafted onto mylar, and numerical categories corresponding to the utility symbols used by the Metro Council were assigned to the lines and points on the mylar overlays. The original source of this utility information varies according to utility type, and is listed in a separate document (includes Northern States Power Co., Metro Waste Control Commission, MN Office of Pipeline Safety, Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, and others). Contacts for this maplayer are Carl Shenk (Metro Council, information content), and Miki Stuebe (NPS-DSC, data drafting, GIS entry and manipulation).
