Mississippi NRRA Zoning (misszonp)

Budde P. 1996. Mississippi NRRA Zoning (misszonp). NPS Midwest Field Area

Zoning vectors in the Mississippi Natl. River and Recreation Area. To create this map layer, zoning maps were obtained from municipalities falling within the MNRRA boundary. The maps were reduced to a common scale (1:24000), and drafted onto mylar, with a minimum mapping unit of approximately 30x30 meters. The entire zoning map was drafted for any municipality lying at least partially within the MNRRA boundary. The mylars were scanned, the polygons attributed, and the data converted to GRASS vector format by Geonex, Inc. A separate text file lists zoning classes , source map date, and corresponding attributes (category numbers). Text labels were not attached to either the vector or raster attributes because a more general, reclassed version of this maplayer will probably be used for display and analysis purposes. Contact person for this map layer is Miki Stuebe, National Park Service, Denver Service Center, Central Team Planning.
