This report compares fuel loads within a study plot at Bandelier National Monument, NM, before and after prescribed burning. The plot, near Boundary Peak, was measured for standing fuels, herbaceous density, tree survivorship, and shrub cover. There was another plot to be studied, but the area it was in did not fall within prescription for burning.
