This report provides an inventory of American Samoan coastal reefs in 1991-92. It addresses problems associated with rapid population growth, pollution, overfishing, typhoons, and the crown-of-thorns starfish (Acanthaster planci). Tables display the relative abundance of coral species at various locations.
