Rehabilitation plan
Redwood National Park. 1978. Rehabilitation plan
This plan was produced at the time of expansion of Redwood National Park to include previously-logged areas along Redwood Creek. Accelerated erosion threatening park resources in lower Redwood Creek was a major factor in adding these lands to the park, and a major rehabilitation effort was mandated by Congress. Restoration projects include rehabilitation of watersheds, vegetation, roads, tributaries, and the main channel, along with monitoring. A summary of specific tasks and schedule is included.
