The Geologic Map of Grand Teton National Park, Teton County was revised in 1992. Field data were collected under guidelines of the USGS, with field notes used to subsequently interpret data against aerial photos. Physical reference points were established on the photos for future reference. Data were then transfered to 7.5 minute USGS topographic maps, and later consolidated as a 1:62,500 scale map for Grand Teton National Park and surrounding area. This revised geology map was then converted into digital format and is now available as an ARC/INFO coverage.
