This is a grid map depicting the extent of lambing habitat for Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep in the south Snake Range, Nevada. Grid was derived from running the model developed by Smith et al. 1991. 30 meter Grid cells with values represent areas with slopes between 27 and 85 degrees (escape terrain), vegetation types classified as open, 100 meters beyond roads and trails, within 1,000 meters of perennial water located in open vegetation, Areas with southerly aspect, and beyond 300 meters of high human use areas or private lands.
