This is a vector point shapefile showing the mile markers at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument in Arizona. The coordinates for this dataset were collected by driving down the road and stopping at each mile feature based on the distance displayed on the GPS unit and the odometer of the car. The feature were recorded by the global positioning system (Garmin eTrex) and then reset to zero after each reading
