This is a polygon file showing facility management buildings as polygons at Badlands National Park (BADL), South Dakota. The dataset for this layer was created by digitizing a polygon of each building assigned an FMSS assest number and feature code from data points collected at building corners during the summer, 2005. The coordinates for the individual building corner dataset the polygons were based upon were collected using a handheld Trimble GeoXT. In addition, approximate 'centroid' coordinate values (lat/lon in decimal degrees) were generated for each polygon using AlaskaPak software.
