This geodatabase contains all of the the data found in the appendices of the Moore and Woessner (2001) Report. Assessment of contamination of soils, soil water and groundwater by hazardous substances was conducted at Grant Kohrs Ranch National Historic Site in 2000. The primary study area was 1,379 acres of Clark Fork River floodplain, river-irrigated fields and upland areas. Surface soils (approximately the upper 30 cm), soil profiles (maximum depths to approximately 120cm), shallow groundwater and soil pore water were characterized for a variety of hazardous substances.
