This is an ArcGIS shapefile showing the modified park boundary of Bandelier National Monument. The coordinates for this file were digitized on-screen . In December of 1959, 3,600 acres of Frijoles Mesa were transferred to the National Park Service by the Atomic Energy Commission and subsequently added to the Monument via Presidential Proclamation No. 3388 of January 9, 1961, because of "pueblo-type archeological ruins germane to those in the monument."
