This data set contains imagery from the National Agricultural Imagery Program (NAIP). NAIP acquires digital ortho imagery during the agricultural growing seasons in the continental U.S.. This NAIP product is a 1 meter ground sample distance (GSD) ortho imagery rectified to a horizontal accuracy of within +/- 5 meters of reference digital ortho quarter quads (DOQQS) from the National Digital Ortho Program (NDOP). sacnnaip0305.sid contains 11 compressed and appended NAIP images, subsets of 8 counties in Wisconsin, and 3 counties in Minnesota, for the area in and around St. Croix National Scenic River. (Minnesota imagery was flown in 2003 at 1m +/- 3m accuracy, Wisconsin imagery in 2005, at 1m +/- 5m accuracy. Some seams exist between the two datasets.) The compression ratio applied in the MrSID software was 20:1 all other parameters were the software default values. The data set has been projected to UTM Zone 15N, nad83.
