Mosaicked 2003/2004 NAIP orthophotography for Missouri National Recreational River

Budde P. 2006. Mosaicked 2003/2004 NAIP orthophotography for Missouri National Recreational River. Courtney Klaus

This data set contains imagery from the National Agricultural Imagery Program (NAIP). NAIP acquires digital ortho imagery during the agricultural growing seasons in the continental U.S.. This NAIP product is a 1 meter ground sample distance (GSD) ortho imagery rectified to a horizontal accuracy of within +/- 5 meters of reference digital ortho quarter quads (DOQQS) from the National Digital Ortho Program (NDOP). mnrrnaip0304.sid contains compressed and appended NAIP images, subsets of 5 counties in South Dakota, and 4 counties in Nebraska, for the area in and around Missouri National Recreational River. (Nebraska imagery was flown in 2003 at 1m +/- 3m accuracy, South Dakota imagery in 2004. Nebraska imagery was available by the quarter-quad, South Dakota by county. Some seams exist between the two datasets.) The compression ratio applied in the MrSID software was 20:1 all other parameters were the software default values. The data set has been projected to UTM Zone 14N, nad83.
