The fire history points and polygons represent the location of fires at Manassas National Battlefield from 1992 through the 2003 fire season. All types of fires; suppression, prescribed, and wildland fire use fires are included in the dataset. The dataset includes all fire points that have been documented in 1202 reports, the SACS database or other maps or documents, that fall entirely or partially within the park's administrative boundaries regardless of land ownership, agency responsible for the fire, or type of fire (natural, prescribed, arson).
