Three traverses, each containing 3 sampling sites within 200 m of each other and with a minimum of 50 m between locations, were positioned at intervals near the proposed 10M coal-fired power plant site (near the NW boundary of WRST.) At each site, samples were collected of Hylocomium splendens (Hedw.) BSG (feather moss, whole plant, including rhizoids), Peltigera aphthosa (L.) Willd. (ground lichen, whole plant), Picea glauca (Moench) Voss. (white spruce, twigs and needles), and the O2 horizon soil. Baseline ranges reported for each media. (Data collected: June 26-30, July 1, 1990) Accession number: WRST-00158.
