A Geo-Spatial (Jay Ver Hoef, ADF&G) moose survey was conducted in Yukon-Charley River National Preserve from November 15 - 21, 2003. The survey was conducted in the greater Yukon River valley from Eagle to Circle. An estimate of 0.22 moose per square mile was calculated and 25 calve, 13 yearlings, and 61 bulls per 100 cows was the composition.
