Mosaicked 2003 NAIP orthophotography for George Rogers Clark National Historic Park

Budde P. 2006. Mosaicked 2003 NAIP orthophotography for George Rogers Clark National Historic Park. Courtney Klaus

This data set contains imagery from the National Agricultural Imagery Program (NAIP). NAIP acquires digital ortho imagery during the agricultural growing seasons in the continental U.S.. This NAIP product is a 1 meter ground sample distance (GSD) ortho imagery rectified to a horizontal accuracy of within +/- 5 meters of reference digital ortho quarter quads (DOQQS) from the National Digital Ortho Program (NDOP). geronaip2003.sid contains 1 compressed and appended NAIP image, subset of Knox county, for the area in and around George Rogers Clark National Historic Park. (Using a 3 mile buffer, some of the buffered extent of the park falls within the state of Illinois. As Illinois' NAIP imagery is not yet available, this portion of the buffer is not included in this imagery.) The compression ratio applied in the MrSID software was 20:1 all other parameters were the software default values. The data set has been projected to UTM Zone 16N, nad83.
