This is a scanned, ungeoreferenced raster file of the fuel community compositions and vegetation types shown on a 1977 Standing Fuel (living and dead) Inventory by Planar Intersect Method map for Capulin Volcano National Monument. It shows polygons of the fuel community compositions relative to the park's boundary at the time of the study. Also included are lists of 4 letter codes for species present in each community, as well as some numbers of tons per acres of shrub species, live and dead in many of the community compositions. There was no information associated with the original 1977 study provided to the GIS specialist who scanned this information on intended scale, accuracy, and methodology for the original study.
