This polygon data depicts the viewshed of a scenic vista site at the Visitor Center at Tonto National Monument. The point represents one of the locations of heavily visited overlooks along the park roads was also used in the viewshed analysis. This data is an analysis of the visual sensitivity from this vantage point. This viewshed analysis was run using a 30 meter resolution Digital Elevation Model (DEM). No adjustments in elevation were made to account for screening factors that most likely exist, such as the height of vegetation.
