This is a vector polygon file showing the June 1996 Fire location at Padre Island National Seashore. The coordinates for this dataset were collected using a Trimble Pathfinder XL. This is a natural fire of approximately 268 acres and occurred in the panhandle section of the park in June 1996. A small portion of the fire is outside of the park along our north eastern boundary.
