This is a vector polygon file showing the May 1, 1999 Fire location at Padre Island National Seashore. The coordinates for this dataset were collected using a Trimble Pathfinder XL. This is a man-made fire caused by a flare that burned approximately 98 acres and occurred in south of the Ranger Station along the eastern edge of Park Road 22 on May 1, 1999.
