This is a vector polygon file showing the May 3, 1996 Fire location at Padre Island National Seashore. The coordinates for this dataset were collected using a Trimble Pathfinder XL. This is a natural fire of approximately 868 acres and occurred in the panhandle section of the park on May 3, 1996. A portion of the fire went outside the parks northern and north eastern boundary.
