This is a vector polygon file showing the Washover Channels at Padre Island National Seashore. File created by digitizing on-screen using DOQQ's as a base map in Arcview 3.3. The file was used in the development of the park's oil and gas management plan, which described sensitive resource areas of the park. This file is for the washover channels located in the southern portion of the park. The file includes a polygon for the opening of each channel and does not inlcude the entire channel.
