This is a vector polygon file showing the Turtle Lab and Lab Buffer at Padre Island National Seashore. This file was used in the development of the park's oil and gas management plan, which described sensitive resource areas of the park. This file is for the turtle lab and incubation facility at the park. The file includes a 500 foot buffer around the building, which was determined using the create buffer option in Arcview. The buffer was calculated from a point file that included the actual building's location.
