Dredge Material and Natural Islands at Padre Island National Seashore
Echols DL and Echols D. 2003. Dredge Material and Natural Islands at Padre Island National Seashore. National Park Service - Padre Island National Seashore
This is a vector polygon file showing the Dredge Material and Natural Islands at Padre Island National Seashore. File created by digitizing on-screen using DOQQ's as a base map in Arcview 3.3. The file was used in the development of the park's oil and gas management plan, which described sensitive resource areas of the park. This file is for the Dredge Material and Natural Islands within the Laguna Madre portion of the park. The file includes a 1000 foot buffer around each island, which was determined using the create buffer option in Arcview. The buffer was calculated from a point file that included a center point for each island.
