This GIS data contains areas where archeological surveys were done in the past and will be updated when future surveys are done. Each area represents an archeological study done prior to construction/development (or for various other reasons) of an area. Attributes are included to provide year, park archeologist, etc... Past surveys were digitized from old paper maps and written descriptions.
