Stephen P. 2004. Bryce Canyon National Park FARSITE Data, 2004. National Park Service, Fire Program Analysis

This FARSITE (Fire Area Simulator) landscape file is a model for spatially and temporally simulating the spread and behavior of fires for Bryce Canyon National Park. The landscape file contains eight data layers, including: fuel model, canopy cover, tree height, canopy base height, canopy bulk density, elevation, slope, and aspect. The data was developed by the FPA data assembly team from fuels and elevation data with extensive input/guidance from fire behavior experts. For additional information not contained in this metadata, please refer to the plain text read-me file that accompanies this data. NOTE: When using this landscape for FARSITE projections, DO NOT Link Crown Density and Cover, leave it unchecked!
