Extended assessment of burn severity for 2003 fires conducted by Carl Key (USGS). The Lost Creek fire in Canada and the Ball Creek Fire in the Seely-Swan valley of Montana form the northern and southern extent of the data set. Landsat data for Path 41, Row 26 was used in the differenced normalized burn ratio (dNBR) analysis. Seven (7) burn severity classes are presented, representing an aggregation of dNBR values done by Carl Key.
