This dataset comprises a herpetofauna species inventory for Hovenweep National Monument (HOVE). It provides a baseline inventory of herpetofauna with the goal of documenting 90% of species present. Another goal of the project was to assess general abundance and distribution of species present, in an attempt to identify park-specific species of special concern.
