Parking Areas designated by points at Cedar Breaks National Monument, Utah (prkpts)
GIS Specialist Zion National Park. 2004. Parking Areas designated by points at Cedar Breaks National Monument, Utah (prkpts). National Park Service, Cedar Breaks National Monument, ZNP Resource Management & Research GIS
This point dataset locates the parking areas as designated by point features within Cedar Breaks National Monument (used for small scale maps). The parking areas were digitized from the 2002 Color aerial photographs, the attributes were identified by Steve Robinson (CEBR's Chief Ranger) and the labels were exported out as points. The points were then moved to correctly portray the "middle" of the parking area. Currently, there are not location/asset numbers (for FMSS) for the following two parking areas: Guard Rail Curve and Rattlesnake Creek Trailhead.
