Skidds DE. 2008. GPS Shorelines of Sandy Hook Unit, GATE Dec. 1994 - Oct. 2007. NCBN Data Manager

These data represent a series of mean high water shorelines collected at the Sandy Hook Unit of Gateway National Recreation Area (GATE), appended into one personal geodatabase. The shoreline surveys are collected using an Trimble ProXR or GeoXT GPS mounted on an ATV, and range in dates from December of 1994 to the most recent updated survey of October, 2007. Depending on the time of year and intended purpose, some surveys contain ocean, inlet and bay shorelines, while some surveys only contain ocean shorelines. Additionally, some surveys collected prior to 2003 do not contain FGDC-compliant metadata records.
