Benthic Marine Community Monitoring and Marine Fish Monitoring were conducted on marine resources in KALA and NPSA during 2006-2007. The benthic marine community monitoring focused on the following: a) substrate point count identifications from image analysis of 2006 and 2007 KALA data, b) substrate point count identifications from image analysis of 2007 NPSA data, c) metadata for fixed transects, d) rugosity for 2006 and 2007 KALA data, e) rugosity for 2007 NPSA data, and f) settlement data for KALA in 2006 and 2007. The marine fish monitoring included: a) taxonomic identifications, abundance, and size estimations from fish belt transects for KALA in 2006 and 2007 and b) metadata for fixed transects which are co-located with benthic marine community protocol.
